What are the differences between Tablakala 1 Motor and Tablakala 2 Motors?

Good question. We get asked this a lot :)

The differences are as follows:


  1. The lifting range of the Tablakala 2 Motors is 62cm to 127cm (recommended for people 155 to 205cm tall). The lifting range of the Tablakala 1 Motor is 71cm to 121cm (recommended for people 160cm to 195cm tall).

  2. The Tablakala 2 Motors is more robust. The legs are one centimetre wider, the table weighs more (28kg vs 20kg) and is therefore more stable. The stability of the Tablakala 1 Motor is very good; the stability of the Tablakala 2 Motors is Excellent ("the most stable on the market").

  3. The Tablakala 2 Motors supports up to 100kg of weight . The Tablakala 1 Motor supports up to 70kg of weight . If you work with 1 screen and 1 laptop, the Tablakala 1 Motor is more than enough for you. If you work with 2 or 3 screens in addition to the laptop, we recommend the Tablakala 2 Motors instead.

  4. Compatible boards: Tablakala 2 Motors: boards with a width of 110-180cm and a depth of 60-80cm / Tablakala 1 Motor: boards with a width of 100-160cm and a depth of 50-80cm. In both cases, boards with a minimum thickness of 1.9cm. In both cases, you can buy a board on our website, or install a board of your choice that is compatible.

  5. The Tablakala 2 Motors is faster in movement : 3.5 cm/second vs. 2.5 cm/second of the Tablakala 1 Motor.

  6. The price is also different.
